Zhangjiajie is a world famous tourist city located in the northwest of Hunan province of China. As one of the China's most attractive natural landscape, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is known especially for its grotesque pillars that are resulted from the weathering of expanding ice in winter and the plants grown on them. In addition, lucid brooks, abundant fauna, and floras are seen throughout the park. The unique pillars from Zhangjiajie also inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountains seen in the movie Avatar (2010).
